Festival of Killing the speechless:

I guess how many of you know about this very popular festival shared by our Indian and Nepalese Hindu brother and sisters. Gadhimai festival is a sacrificial ritual that is held every 5 years at the Gadhimai Temple of Bariyarpur, in Bara District, south of the capital Kathmandu, near the Indo-Nepal border. The event involves a large scale slaughter of animals including buffaloes, pigs, goats, chicken, rats( can you believe it) , and pigeons( really? ) – with the goal of pleasing Gadhimai, the goddess of power.
So we can easily conclude from above information that Gadhimai is a goddess who ask her devotees to sacrifice others life to fulfill their fate. Thats so insanely misunderstood thing.
Why would someone be fulfilling your demands to the sacrifice of others. I you want something from your god then why don't they sacrifice their family, or even themselves , I think god might be very please by this action rather than slaughter of speechless animals.

Are these peoples human, and beside that hindu ? I always thought that my religion was all about Love peace and brotherhood, never thought that people would make such a shit out of it. Just for their own selfish reasons and wrong thinking they would do such a heinous crime in the name of pleasing god, in the name of Religion. Thats called wrong teaching and wrong thinking all in one.
Why would be god happy seeing his/her childrens being killed by his another devil child.

They call them selves devoties , but are they one ?

Our religion teaches us the about the Karma. I think that principle of Karma is that when you kill someone, you're interfering with their cycle of life and death, and you end up tarnishing your own soul, earning yourself 'bad' Karma.

Quotes from Buddha's Life

Between the 6th and 4th century BCE, a man named Siddhārtha Gautama began to turn heads in Eastern India with his profound spiritual wisdom.  He was given the name “Buddha”, which literally means “The enlightened one”, and to this day we still receive tremendous insight from his teachings. Interestingly, Buddha never actually wrote any of his teachings down.  Similar to Jesus and Socrates, his method of teaching was verbal and communicative.  Oral traditions kept the wisdom of the Buddha alive until 400 years after his death when the first transcript of his teachings first emerged. His awakening occurred when he realized that you didn’t have to starve yourself and mortify your body, as was commonly practiced in India at that time to enhance spiritual clarity and wisdom.  When a young girl offered him some milk and rice pudding as an action of compassion, he realized that there was more to The Way than what he had been taught. He then ...
