Terror attacks in Pathankot, India

The analysis can be made in numerous terms. Firstly by putting ourself in the shoes of the soldiers , secondly by putting yourself in the place of residents nearby and third from the point of view of administrators of the country. These three categories of people think very different from each other. Let us examine the role of each group of these people.

First category of people are the real heroes, who have actually faced this, second class of people have watched this happening with terror filled eyes, praying god to spare them from becoming the victims and the third has the responsibility of  making foreign policy which decides the whole new fate of the relations with our long time foe Pakistan, which is actually running on the right track now. All thanks to “Modi’s Foreign Policy” as it is termed.

The terrorists, disguised as Army men entered the Pathankot airport base, aiming to destroy the aircraft carriers and choppers. They made a call to Pakistan before commencing their operation .One terrorist even called his mother seeking blessing and informing of the mission. Our soldiers lost lives while fighting these monsters. Among our heroes, were Lt Col Niranjan, an officer of the Madras Sappers, the officer commanding the bomb disposal squad of the National Security Guard and Commonwealth shooting medalist Subedar Fateh Singh of the Dogra Regiment who was now with the Defence Security Corps. This has taken place after Mr Modi paid a surprise visit to Pakistan on it’s PM’s birthday. This attack is a threat to the ongoing peace talks between India and Pakistan which for the first time has military backing and some good result is being expected out of it.

The mother would be cursing herself for giving birth to such a monster !! On the other hand mothers of the soldiers are proud to have sons who fight everyday for their motherland. Our soldiers have lost life not only in Pathankot but also everyday on the borders protecting us day and night . So, let us today not become selfish and think only for ourselves but also do our bit to uplift India in any small way we can by guiding the youth on the right track. This will make us the citizens who are worth fighting for!!!

Quotes from Buddha's Life

Between the 6th and 4th century BCE, a man named Siddhārtha Gautama began to turn heads in Eastern India with his profound spiritual wisdom.  He was given the name “Buddha”, which literally means “The enlightened one”, and to this day we still receive tremendous insight from his teachings. Interestingly, Buddha never actually wrote any of his teachings down.  Similar to Jesus and Socrates, his method of teaching was verbal and communicative.  Oral traditions kept the wisdom of the Buddha alive until 400 years after his death when the first transcript of his teachings first emerged. His awakening occurred when he realized that you didn’t have to starve yourself and mortify your body, as was commonly practiced in India at that time to enhance spiritual clarity and wisdom.  When a young girl offered him some milk and rice pudding as an action of compassion, he realized that there was more to The Way than what he had been taught. He then ...
