The Hindus : Descendants of Sanatan Dharma Part 1

The Sanatana dharma traces its existance back to some 10 thousands years back. There is an old saying that when people in the west were busy in making utensils out of human bones the people in India were writing Vedas. We have not only invented the number system but been using it efficiently for astronomy.

The word Hindu which has been for long seen as a religious identity of a group of people is in actually the geographical identity of the people living side the great Himalayas and the Indu sagar(ocean). So if we follow that up then every person living in India be him a christian or Muslim or follower of any other religion is actually a Hindu. But with time the word "Hindu" had became the identity of the followers of "Sanatan Dharma".

"Sanatana" is a Sanskrit word that denotes that which is Anadi (beginningless), Anantha (endless) and does not cease to be, that which is eternal and everlasting. Dharma is from dhri, meaning to hold together, to sustain. Sanatana Dharma represents much more than just a religion; rather, it provides its followers with an entire worldview, way of life and with a coherent and rational view of reality.

The science studies in India was so much advance that it could be understood by some simple facts like, in Varaha Avatar lord Vishnu takes the form of Boar and took the earth out of water, and the earth shown is round. BIG DEAL. It takes the Europeans the Apolo images to beleave the earth is really round and we did that discovery 1000's of years ago. Even Geography is called  भूगोल (गोल meaning round).

Lets come to metallurgy, India held sole information how to  remove Zinc from Zinc ore for 4000 years. From the ore Zinc becomes liquid at 997 deg Celcius but the same Zinc become gas 1000 deg Celcius. Only Indians were having the knowledge to get Zinc out of Zinc ore which is is a very hard process. Only to be first stolen by Chinese in 16th century and then the British. (Fasts can be checked in wikipedia too)

Well all thanks to the 800 years of slavery and not to forgot the role of Britishers who just not only enslaved us in our own land but also destroyed our thousands years of Research work. The Amount of the Knowledge this country had was phenominal and what was more phenominal was that we have these knowledge 5 to 10 thousands years back. When Europe was still using bow and arrow to kill a dear our people were busy in distilling Zinc.

It is a  long thing to discuss which I will further continue in Part 2.

Nothing is permanent in life

In life nothing is permanent, everything is temporary that means your sorrows and pain too have an end. Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise. People take everything in life to be permanent love, hate, sorrow, friends, family and that is when they grow a tree of expectedness from others, and that is when they get hurt when the same tree mould with one's belief and trust fall without any warning unexpectedly and people get depressed isolated and hide their true identity behind a fake smile keeping every memories safe in a corner of their heart. Well its so common in us, its so natural in human. The only medicine or cure to this problem is that we start to believe that everything is temporary and happens for a reason and rather finding out the reason for what happened (fall of tree of expectedness) we should focus on the good things it happened for and what lies ahead. No this doesn't advocate to move on. Moving on is not the solution. It is like moving on from...

Rare Book Society of India

" Despite being an ancient literary civilization and having one of the largest literary treasures of hand-written and printed material, India does not have a single Society for rare book collectors. This is an attempt to create a forum where those elusive connoisseurs come together to discuss and share their knowledge on Indian rare books. RBSI showcases rare Indian books, prints and art, that have been digitized, with the purpose of bringing these lost words to life. Through this open virtual platform, members of RBSI can create a digital collection of rare and valuable books by downloading the digitised books that are made available here. What started of as a group for rare book collectors has now transformed into a forum for history buffs, scholars and of course the silent curious. Discussions and comments range from sanguine to educative to irreverent, all providing for an interesting cerebral buzz, every day of the week. Many of these books might be considered to be his...
