The Hindus : Descendants of Sanatan Dharma Part 1

The Sanatana dharma traces its existance back to some 10 thousands years back. There is an old saying that when people in the west were busy in making utensils out of human bones the people in India were writing Vedas. We have not only invented the number system but been using it efficiently for astronomy.

The word Hindu which has been for long seen as a religious identity of a group of people is in actually the geographical identity of the people living side the great Himalayas and the Indu sagar(ocean). So if we follow that up then every person living in India be him a christian or Muslim or follower of any other religion is actually a Hindu. But with time the word "Hindu" had became the identity of the followers of "Sanatan Dharma".

"Sanatana" is a Sanskrit word that denotes that which is Anadi (beginningless), Anantha (endless) and does not cease to be, that which is eternal and everlasting. Dharma is from dhri, meaning to hold together, to sustain. Sanatana Dharma represents much more than just a religion; rather, it provides its followers with an entire worldview, way of life and with a coherent and rational view of reality.

The science studies in India was so much advance that it could be understood by some simple facts like, in Varaha Avatar lord Vishnu takes the form of Boar and took the earth out of water, and the earth shown is round. BIG DEAL. It takes the Europeans the Apolo images to beleave the earth is really round and we did that discovery 1000's of years ago. Even Geography is called  भूगोल (गोल meaning round).

Lets come to metallurgy, India held sole information how to  remove Zinc from Zinc ore for 4000 years. From the ore Zinc becomes liquid at 997 deg Celcius but the same Zinc become gas 1000 deg Celcius. Only Indians were having the knowledge to get Zinc out of Zinc ore which is is a very hard process. Only to be first stolen by Chinese in 16th century and then the British. (Fasts can be checked in wikipedia too)

Well all thanks to the 800 years of slavery and not to forgot the role of Britishers who just not only enslaved us in our own land but also destroyed our thousands years of Research work. The Amount of the Knowledge this country had was phenominal and what was more phenominal was that we have these knowledge 5 to 10 thousands years back. When Europe was still using bow and arrow to kill a dear our people were busy in distilling Zinc.

It is a  long thing to discuss which I will further continue in Part 2.

Quotes from Buddha's Life

Between the 6th and 4th century BCE, a man named Siddhārtha Gautama began to turn heads in Eastern India with his profound spiritual wisdom.  He was given the name “Buddha”, which literally means “The enlightened one”, and to this day we still receive tremendous insight from his teachings. Interestingly, Buddha never actually wrote any of his teachings down.  Similar to Jesus and Socrates, his method of teaching was verbal and communicative.  Oral traditions kept the wisdom of the Buddha alive until 400 years after his death when the first transcript of his teachings first emerged. His awakening occurred when he realized that you didn’t have to starve yourself and mortify your body, as was commonly practiced in India at that time to enhance spiritual clarity and wisdom.  When a young girl offered him some milk and rice pudding as an action of compassion, he realized that there was more to The Way than what he had been taught. He then ...
